Dr. Bhaskaran Gopalakrishnan, Director of the WVU-Industrial Assessment Center, recently attended the WVU ITAC Directors' meeting and made presentations on decarbonization and activities in MARICE to an audience consisting of ITAC Directors and DOE, MESC personnel and others. His presence highlights our continued commitment to excellence in industrial energy efficiency and sustainability. We look forward to the exciting developments that will arise from this collaboration.

WVU IAC has been selected for $2.19 million in federal funding for the next
five years to assist manufacturers and train the next generation of student workforce

- Josage Chathura Perera won the IAC Student Award for his outstanding accomplishments in promoting the practices, principles and procedures in energy efficiency, productivity improvement, waste reduction, energy management and more. Chathura was a Lead Research Engineer at WVU-Industrial Assessment Center from 2018-2020.
- Amir Abolhassani won the IAC Alumni Award for his outstanding accomplishments in promoting the practices, principles and procedures in energy efficiency, productivity improvement, waste reduction, energy management and more. Amir was the Lead Student and a Graduate Research Assistant at WVU-Industrial Assessment Center from 2012-2017.
